Some of the castle events included jousts, and tournaments. But the most important event would have to be a Banquet. On special occasions, banquets were held in the castles great hall. Usually around 10 or 11 in the morning and lasted several hours. All of the guests sat at one table except the king and his lady who sat at a different table with there backs to the wall, facing their guests. All the quests had plates, knifes, and forks, event though mostly all the food was to be eaten with their hands. During the banquet, music played and there were performances by dancers, acrobats, and jesters.....SOO COOL!Wednesday, May 18, 2011

That would have been really fun to live in a castle. I would probably eat a ton of food at the banquets!
